At the top left the name of the map is shown (Europe in this example)
On the top right the locator globe and a help file appear on continent maps; on country maps the country-flag is shown. Click on this flag to see detailed information on the flag, national anthem and currency of the present country.

The maps are clickable, move your mouse pointer over the maps to see the links.

At the bottom of each map, a series of possibilities is shown:

• Choose map style
  • political maps
  • physical maps
  • satellite images Not available yet
  • blank map - for every map style, blank maps are available by clicking 'blank map'
  • labeled map - click 'labeled map' to return to the map that include all labels (names, roads, towns, etc.)
  • reference - the maps reference providing information on colors and symbols used on the maps, appears left of the maps
  
  
  

• Related topics - shows entries where the present map is included (=zoom out)
  • statistics - click here for statistical information on the present country (statistical information include the following topics: Geography, People, Government, Economy, Communication, Transportation, Military and Transnational Issues)
  • national symbols - detailed information on the flag, national anthem and currency of the country
  • history - historic information of the present country
  • travel - travel information includes detailed descriptions of places to visit, precautions to be taken and ways to get there and away. Images, photographs and local maps are found in the 'Travel' sections of Gheos World Guide. On the travel pages links to various cities and places of interest are provided.
  • Weather - detailed weather reports from many places included in the map
