Kasane

Kasane lies close to the place where the borders of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet. Kasane is a good place to start trips into the Chobe National Park.

About 8 km from Kasane, in the town of Kazungula is the Chobe Crocodile farm. There is a snake park in Kazungula as well. Kasane also boasts a huge boabab tree. The natural Kasane Hot Spings have warm and salty waters.

There are various lodges available including restaurants. Buses running between Nata and Francistown irregularly serve Kasane. Kasane is only a 1½ hour drive from Victoria Falls and day trips to the falls can be arranged there.
