Chimanimani

The little village of Chimanimani is the nearest place to the Chinamimani National Park. It is in the eastern part of Zimbabwe, 19 km from the park entrance, close to the border with Mozambique. There is not much to do in Chimanimani, but if you visit the Chimanimani National Park, you'll probably end up in the village as well.

There is an 18 km² eland sanctuary near the village. Nyamzure (Pork Pie Hill) is also in the vicinity and can be climbed for nice views over the area. Six km from Chimanimani are the spectacular Bridal Veil Falls, where the water drops some 50 meters.

There are several camping grounds, hotels and lodges around town.
