Christoffel National Park covers several former plantations in the northwest of Curaçao. The park was founded in the 1970's and there are several routes through it. The park is excellent for hiking and contains mahogany forests, limestone cliffs, Amerindian petroglyphs and numerous interesting Baroque land houses landhuisen that belonged to the old plantations.

In one of those houses is the Savonet Museum, where Curaçao's natural and human history is on display. 370 m (1240 ft) high Mount Christoffel also lies in the park and provides good views from its summit.

Entrance to the park is quite expensive. If you don't have your own transportation, you can take the bus that runs between Dorp Westpunt and Otrabanda and get of at the park entrance.
