Dahab

Most people visit Dahab for the perfect snorkeling and scuba diving possibilities that the Gulf of Aqaba offers, but other than that there is not much to see. It is a very relaxed place about 60 km north of Sharm el Sheikh on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba. Dahab actuaölly consists of two villages; the Bedouin village of Assalah and Dahab itself.

Accommodation is very cheap and mostly situated near the beach. There is a campsite. Restaurants are cheap as well and the city can be reached by bus. There are daily connections with Sharm el Sheikh, Cairo and Suez.
