Espargos

Espargos lies on the island of Sal, 18 km north of the major tourist place of Santa Maria. There are many hotels and restaurants in the town and in the evenings, youths stroll around. You can ask around for local, mostly elder, women known as Fatima, who will make you a very good, but cheap meal if you let them know in advance.
