Falmouth Harbor is a large, protected bay on the southeastern side of Antigua. The town of Falmouth on the northern side of the bay is one of the main centers of activity in the area, but the eastern side of Falmouth Harbor boasts much more facilities. The east side of Falmouth Harbor is within walking distance from Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbor.
Antigua's oldest church and one of the oldest buildings in the country, is St. Paul's Anglican Church on the main road in the center of Falmouth. The church was built in 1676 and the churchyard includes numerous colonial-era gravestones.
Most hotels and restaurants are on the eastern side of Falmouth Harbor.
