Faro

Faro is one of the major tourist resorts of the Algarve in southern Portugal. There are several nice beaches in Faro, as well as numerous hotels and restaurants. Faro is the Algarve's main transit point for tourists arriving from abroad. During the summer season the town gets very busy with holidaymakers. Faro is 220 km southeast of Lisbon.
