The Flower Forest is a 20 ha (50 acres) large area of tropical flora on an old sugar estate. Almost every plant that can be found on Barbados is represented there. Walking paths through the park provide excellent views of the Chalky Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
Barbados' only remaining rainforest is at Welchman's Hall Gully, several kilometers to the south. Not far from there is Harrison's Cave, which boasts numerous limestone caverns, stalactites, stalagmites, subterranean streams, pools and waterfalls. A battery-powered tram runs through the cave and its so-called Great Hall.
The Flower Forest is about 20 km (12 miles) northeast of Bridgetown.
