Garissa

There is absolutely nothing to see or do in Garissa, but if you are traveling in the area it is a good place to spend the night. There are several hotels in town and buses run between Garissa and Nairobi, as well as between Garissa and Mokowe near Lamu. There is also a service to Wajir. Garissa is 330 km northeast of Nairobi, on the Tana River.
