Hammerfest

Hammerfest advertises itself as the northernmost town in the world. It is a good place to see the midnight sun in the summer and northern lights (aurora borealis) during the winter. Apart from these, there are not many reasons to come to Hammerfest. There are several hotels and restaurants in town. Hammerfest is 1345 km north of Oslo.
