Island Harbour
Island Harbour is a fishing village and not geared toward tourism, although it's a lovely place to visit if you want to get away from Anguilla's resort area. In the picturesque harbor you can usually see numerous brightly colored fishing boats.
The main historic sight in Island Harbour is Big Spring, a neglected cave that has partially collapsed. it contains 28 Amerindian petroglyphs and an underwater spring that once served as Island Harbour's water source.
There are several places to stay and eat in Island Harbour. The town is 7 km east of The Valley. Boats to Scrub Island and Scilly Cay can be arranged in Island Harbour.
