The Kas di Pal'i Maishi is an original country house known as kunuku. These houses were built out of branches and loam and were topped by steep thatched roofs, similar to the ones found in Western Africa. Kas means 'house of sticks and excrements' in the local Papiamento language. The Kas di Pal'i Maishi houses a bar and a museum.

It is 20 km northwest of Willemstad on the road to Dorp Westpunt.
