Mora

Mora is the capital of the Wandala people. It lies in the far northern part of Cameroon, 850 northeast of Yaoundé, not far from the Nigerian border. The town has one of Cameroon's best markets, where all different ethnic groups from the region come to their shopping (and selling). You may well see bare-breasted mountain sitting next to a Muslim women covered from head to toes, both selling their wares. On the market you will find anything from painted gourds, jewelry, grisgris (necklace charms) to vegetables and animals.

You can get to Mora by bush taxi from N'Gaoundéré.
