Mountain Zebra National Park
In 1964 there were only 25 Cape mountain zebras left worldwide. In that same year the Mountain Zebra National Park was declared and nowadays there are several hundreds of mountain zebras in South Africa. The park covers a 6500-hectare large area of the rugged slopes of the Bankberg Mountains. The views from the mountain range over the Karoo plains are excellent.
