Mutirikwe Recreational Park

Mutirikwe Dam is often referred to as Lake Kyle. There are several rock paintings not far from the lake. One of the sites where paintings can be seen is two km from the dam and another one is at Chamara Cave, some 18 km from the dam. The Mutirikwe Game Park has the largest variety of antelope species in Zimbabwe and is one of the few parks in the country where you are allowed to walk. Horseriding is also a possiblity.

There are several camp sites, lodges and hotels in the area. The Great Zimbabwe Ruins are nearby.
