N'Gaoundéré

N'Gaoundéré is the quiet, hot and dry, northern terminus of Cameroon's main railway line. The town's elders regularly meet in the chief's house known as Lamidal. It lies behind the Grand Mosque and short ceremonies can be seen there twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.

There are some places where you can stay in N'Gaoundéré and food is available at many food stalls, especially near the railway station. There are some restaurants as well. The gare routière is opposite the railway station.
