Nazareth

Nazareth was Jesus' childhood home and has been an important pilgrimage place ever since. There are several interesting churches in Nazareth, including the Basilica of the Annunciation, where according to the Bible, Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. Apart from that, there is little of interest in Nazareth

There are several hotels and restaurants in town. Nazareth is 100 km north of Jerusalem.

Because of the current situation in Israel it is not recommended to travel to Nazareth, or any other destination in Israel at this moment.
