Papohaku Beach
Papohaku Beach is probably Hawaii's longest beach. It stretches for more than 4 km (2.5 miles) along the coast of Molokai. The beach is mostly deserted and it is often possible to walk the shore without seeing another soul. All of the seven access points to the beach have outdoor showers and paved parking lots. They are all off the main road.
On calm days Papohaku Beach is excellent for snorkeling, but on windy days the waters are usually too treacherous to swim. Its vast expanse of golden sand makes it a wonderful place for sunbathing and sunset walks.
