Ronda is located on an escarpment and is best known for the ancient bridge spanning the gorge that splits the town in two. On the edge of the escarpment you will get some beautiful views over the surrounding area. The area around the bridge is very touristy, but the rest of the town remains Spanish.

You can enjoy tapas in one of the many bars and small restaurants on the escarpment. There are also several hotels and campsites in town. Ronda is 430 km southwest of Madrid and has road connections with most other Spanish cities.
