Volcán Osorno (Osorno Volcano)

The Osorno volcano sits in Chile oldest national park, the Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales. There are several stunning natural features in the vicinity of the volcano. Lago Todos Los Santos lies in the center of the park, and is overshadowed by the Osorno volcano. Ferry trips on the lake to several lakeside villages are available, while the Osorno itself can be climbed.

During the winter the region is a popular skiing spot. The nearest large city is Puerto Montt, where most people stay. The Osorno volcano is 865 km south of Santiago.
