Zakopane

Zakopane is the main tourist center in the Polish Tatras. It is a nice town where all sorts of skiing and hiking facilities are available. There are many hotels and restaurants and the town has rail connections with the capital, as well as Kraków. Zakopane is 335 km southwest of Warsaw, close to the Slovakian border.
